Tuatha De Danann
I’ve loved mythology for as long as I can remember. I was the kid who joined after-school mythology clubs just for fun.
I’ve always dreamed of writing a book series that dives into Irish mythology and folklore, focusing mainly on Druids.
The reason? My mother is Irish, and she grew up with stories and legends I never heard much about in the U.S. I was fascinated—and completely determined to create a story she could read, one that truly honored her heritage.
She always told me she could never find books that truly focused on Druids, and she was obsessed with them. So, I made it my mission to write that story for her.
Then I became a mother myself. I started telling stories to my kids, making up worlds and adventures, and they loved hearing them.
That’s when I decided—I was going to write these books, no matter what. Not just for my mother, but for my children and myself.
Because there will always be obstacles, always reasons why you can’t do something.
But only those who push through them truly make their dreams come true.
